Ibori: Delta Has Lost A Patriach, Mobilizer – Macaulay

Former Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has commiserated with the family of Ibori over the death of their patriarch Chief William Ibori.

In a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Iteveh Ekpokpobe, Macaulay described the late Ibori as a great mobilizer who was always vehement about the development course of the state.

Macaulay said that the inputs of the patriarch in stabilising Ibori dynasty at its most trying times remains indelible in the minds of many.

According him, the loss does not affect only the Ibori family but Delta State and the Niger Delta by extension.

The veteran labour leader, urged the family to take solace in the fact that the late Chief William Ibori led a life worthy of emulation.

He prayed that the almighty God to grant the family and the people of Oghara Kingdom, fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
