‘I’m Crying for My Children, You’re Looking at My Handkerchief’ — Judy Austin’s Ex-Husband

Emmanuel Obasi, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has hit back at critics amid ongoing discussions surrounding his emotional appeal to see his children.

Obasi, who has repeatedly claimed that he has not seen his children in over a decade, expressed frustration that some social media users appeared more interested in commenting on his appearance than addressing his concerns about his children.

In a video circulating online, he said:

“I am crying over my children, and you are busy looking at my handkerchief. What concerns my handkerchief concerns what I am crying about?”

He added: “Your fellow man come out crying that he want to see his children, you are busy looking at handkerchief, what concern handkerchief.”

Obasi’s latest remarks come amid his continued public campaign over access to his children, whom he claims he has not seen for more than 10 years following the breakdown of his marriage to Judy Austin. He has previously appealed to Nigerians and public figures to assist him in reconnecting with them.

The issue has generated mixed reactions online, with some expressing sympathy for his situation, while others have questioned aspects of his claims.
