6th Anniversary: Okowa Still Waxing Stronger on Development of Delta – Esievo
As Deltans celebrate the Sixth Anniversary of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, the immediate past Local Government Auditor-General of the state, Chief Abel Ogheneovo Esievo has said that the governor is still waxing stronger on the development of Delta state.
Chief Abel Esievo, a 2023 governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in his Goodwill message, said he is joining hands with millions of Deltans to congratulate His Excellency, Senator lfeanyi Arthur Okowa on this auspicious ceremony of his six years in office as governor of Delta state.
He said Okowa’s administration for the past six years has achieved much in the area of infrastructures and human capital development across the 25 local government areas of the state, stating that his administration has changed the developmental narrative across the various sectors of the economy, mostly in road construction, education, health, agriculture, youth empowerment, skill acquisition and others.
Esievo who said Delta is a blessed state, described Okowa as a focused, dedicated and committed leader who would at all times, leave his footprints in the sands of time, adding that there still much to be celebrated in the next two years of his administration as he is still waxing stronger by day with the desire to give Delta state the best.
He said, “l will confidently say that the last six years of Okowa’s administration has been quite exciting and eventful, as l can recall that the first term of Okowa’s administration was anchored on his SMART Agenda in the area of projects, provision of jobs for all Deltans, Agricultural reforms, industrialization, Health and Education policies.
“I want to on behalf of my family and Ethiope East people congratulate Governor Okowa and Deltans as we celebrate his sixth year in office, while I implore all Deltans to support Okowa’s next two years so he can finish much stronger and make Delta a state of envy as he takes us to the next level.”
