Oborevwori Felicitates Speaker Emomotimi Guwor on 47th Birthday

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on the occasion of his 47th birthday.

In a goodwill message issued on April 1 through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor joined family members, lawmakers, constituents from Warri South-West, and associates in celebrating the Speaker’s life and achievements.

Governor Oborevwori described Guwor as a purposeful leader and commended his contributions to legislative excellence, as well as his role in advancing policies that support the development of Delta State.

He noted that Guwor, who also serves as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, has sustained stability in the House of Assembly by fostering cooperation and mutual respect among arms of government.

The governor further applauded the legislature under Guwor’s leadership for ensuring a seamless lawmaking process, particularly through the passage of impactful bills and resolutions aimed at improving the welfare of Deltans.

According to him, the Speaker’s commitment to people-oriented governance and his ability to lead with focus and wisdom have strengthened democratic institutions in the state.

Oborevwori also highlighted the alignment between the Assembly’s legislative agenda and his administration’s MORE Agenda, noting that the synergy has accelerated development across key sectors.

He said: “On behalf of my family, the government and the people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, who is also the Chairman of Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, on the occasion of his 47th birth anniversary”.

The governor offered prayers for Guwor’s continued good health, long life, and greater accomplishments in service to Delta State and humanity.
