Kizz Daniel Debunks Viral Bank Account Freeze Rumours
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has strongly refuted widespread rumours suggesting that his bank accounts were frozen.
In an official statement released on Thursday, the award-winning singer described the viral reports as entirely false and a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation.
His response followed a trending story alleging that he had been ordered to pay €200,000 in damages, which reportedly led to the freezing of his assets. The claim quickly spread across social media platforms and entertainment blogs, sparking concerns among fans and industry stakeholders.
The singer’s management, however, dismissed the rumours:
“Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story.”
Kizz Daniel, one of Nigeria’s leading Afrobeats artists, has built an impressive international reputation with global hit songs such as “Buga”, “Woju”, and “Lie”. His denial aims to set the record straight and reassure fans of his continued focus on music and performances.
The singer remains active on the global stage, cementing his place as one of the most consistent and influential voices in Afrobeats.
