Isoko National Youth Assembly Interfaces with DESOPADEC’s EDFA


The Isoko National Youth Assembly (INYA) Worldwide, led by Comrade Eniwake Orogun, paid a courtesy and visit to Chief Kome Okpobor, the Executive Director, Finance and Administration (EDFA) at the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) in Warri.

The President who was in the company of members of the executive council noted that the purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the EDFA as well as let him know his administration’s plan for Isoko youths in particular and Isoko nation in general.

“We are here to introduce ourselves to you and let you know our plans for Isoko nation. Our mandate is purely advocacy and we intend to amplify and sustain the Isoko voice both nationally and globally.

However, foremost on our agenda is the pursuit of unity among our people. Only in unity can we prosper economically and advance politically”.

He noted that programs have been lined up to achieve the various objectives that have been set out by his administration.

Responding, Chief Kome expressed his desire to work with the body in realizing its goals especially in the pursuit of unity.

“I welcome you all graciously to this office. I have followed your activities and I am optimistic that you will do well for the Isoko people. Peace and Unity is priceless and you can count on my support any day and time in the actualisation of your goals.

Also, we will do well to carry you along our youth activities as critical stakeholders and urge you to support the MORE AGENDA for the betterment of the state”.
