De Laurentiis, “Osimhen Won’t Join Juventus This Summer”
Napoli president, Aurelien De Laurentiis, is adamant that Victor Osimhen will not join Juventus in the summer transfer window, despite the Old Lady’s interest in the Nigerian striker.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, where he has scored 29 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season.
There has been a wave of interest in Osimhen from various European clubs, including Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal. However, De Laurentiis is keen on retaining his prized asset and has no intention of selling him to Juventus.
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. I’m enjoying all this now. The fans supported me in an incredible way. Not only me but also my companions and my family. The best decision will be made for everyone, but Galatasaray will forever remain in my heart,” Osimhen said about his future.
De Laurentiis’ stance on Osimhen’s potential move to Juventus comes after reports emerged that Napoli are willing to lower their €75m valuation to facilitate a deal with Manchester United.
Galatasaray are also reportedly willing to make sacrifices to keep Osimhen, but it remains to be seen whether they can convince him to stay.
