BBNaija 10: Sultana Becomes Head of House, Opens Up on Being Married at 15

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has clinched the Head of House (HOH) title after winning the interim game on Sunday. She is now set to defend her position in Monday’s competition, continuing her strong run in the reality show.

Following her victory, Sultana opened up to fellow housemate Jason Jae in a heartfelt garden conversation. She revealed that she was married at just 15 years old and is now the proud mother of two daughters, Aaliyah and Lianora.

“I was married off really young as a child,” Sultana disclosed. When asked about her age, she replied: “I was about 15.” She explained that although the marriage was not her choice, her resilience and stubborn spirit gave her the strength to eventually break free. She also revealed that both of her children were born via C-section.

On her official X account, managed by her team, Sultana reflected on her life journey, noting that she built herself up brick by brick with the support of her family and friends. She emphasized that she has learned to embrace her story and is determined to use BBNaija as a platform to inspire others.

Speaking about her daughters, Sultana said: “Aaliyah and Lianora are my world. I love them so much and cherish them with all my heart.” She also hinted that her tattoos carry deep untold stories, describing herself as “like an onion — the more you peel, the more you discover.”

Her management further explained that her participation in BBNaija goes beyond the competition. Sultana aims to inspire the girl child, particularly in Northern Nigeria, where early marriage remains a challenge. Her message is simple but powerful: “If I can overcome this, you can too.”
