Ajax Sign Maximilian Ibrahimović on Loan from AC Milan
Ajax have completed the loan signing of Maximilian Ibrahimović from AC Milan, with the agreement running until June 2026, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The deal includes a buy option of €3.5 million, while AC Milan retain a sell-on clause as part of the arrangement.
Ibrahimović, a promising forward, has previously shown flashes of talent in Italy, impressing in youth and senior setups with AC Milan. The Dutch champions are hoping his arrival will boost their attacking options as they aim for domestic and European success this season.
The loan provides Ajax with flexibility, allowing them to evaluate Ibrahimović’s impact before potentially activating the buy option. AC Milan, meanwhile, ensure a future financial benefit through the sell-on clause if Ajax make the deal permanent.
This move continues Ibrahimović’s development in European football, giving him regular first-team experience in the Eredivisie, one of Europe’s top leagues for young talent.
