Tonto Dikeh Says Her Story Helped 10 Women Reconcile With Their Partners

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that her reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, has inspired women dealing with broken relationships to seek guidance on forgiveness and healing.

Dikeh said hundreds of women reached out to her following her reconciliation with Churchill, asking how she learned to forgive.

“Ever since my reconciliation with my ex-husband, hundreds of women have reached out asking the same question: How did you learn to forgive?”

She said although she could not respond to everyone, she reached out to women whose experiences reflected her own.

“While I couldn’t reply to everyone, I reached out to those whose pain mirrored my own. Today, to the glory of God, at least 10 women have been reconciled restoring peace, healing hearts, and stepping into healthy co-parenting. God has truly turned my personal story into a tool for restoration.”

The actress, who recently ended years of public estrangement from Churchill, said her experience had shown her the power of forgiveness and its impact on families.

She encouraged people carrying resentment to choose forgiveness, stressing that it is ultimately about finding personal peace and moving forward.

“If you are carrying bitterness today, please hear this: Forgiveness is never for the person who hurt you; it is for you. It is the key to moving your life forward. God will not inflict pain on others just because we are hurting.”

Dikeh’s reconciliation with Churchill has also brought renewed attention to the importance of peaceful co-parenting and healing after separation.
