BREAKING: Tinubu Approves 65 New Ambassadors – See Full List
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the postings of 65 ambassador, 31 career and 34 non-career, to various countries and the United Nations, according to a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on his official X page.
The Senate had confirmed the ambassadors-designate last December. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has begun sending nominations and requesting agréments from the respective countries.
The UK has approved Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu, while France has cleared Ambassador Ayo Oke. President Tinubu has directed that induction for all ambassadors-designate commence immediately.

President Tinubu directed that the induction programme for the ambassadors and High Commissioners-designate commence without delay, underscoring Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening international diplomacy.
