‘I Want to Marry Jarvis to Break the Cycle in My Family’— Peller

Nigerian TikTok star Peller has revealed the deeply personal reason behind his determination to marry fellow content creator Jarvis, saying he wants to break a long-standing family pattern of unmarried relationships.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the streamer, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, disclosed that his parents never got married before having him and his siblings, a reality he described as a “curse” he is determined to end.

“My parents didn’t get married when they gave birth to me and my siblings, but I said I will break that curse. When I told my parents I wanted to get married to Jarvis, they thought I was joking and didn’t take me serious at first. I told them I’m getting married to her and I love her.”

Addressing concerns about his age, the 21-year-old insisted that marriage would not affect his ambitions or career, adding that the lively personality fans see online is only a character he portrays for entertainment.

Peller explained that away from social media, he is more focused on planning his future and building a stable life, noting that his desire to marry Jarvis stems from both love and a commitment to creating a different family experience from the one he grew up with.
