Police Fix April 28–30 for Nationwide Recruitment Aptitude Test
The Nigeria Police Force has fixed April 28 to April 30, 2026, for its nationwide recruitment aptitude test, as the exercise enters a critical stage.
The Computer-Based Test (CBT), according to recruitment updates, will be conducted across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, targeting shortlisted candidates in the ongoing constable recruitment exercise.
The aptitude test is a key phase in the recruitment process, designed to assess candidates’ intelligence, reasoning ability, and general knowledge before progressing to the next stage.
Only applicants who successfully passed the earlier screening and documentation phase are eligible to participate in the examination.
The exercise forms part of a broader federal government effort to strengthen manpower in the police force and improve internal security across the country.
Candidates are expected to check their invitation slips and adhere strictly to scheduled dates, venues, and guidelines, as failure to participate may lead to automatic disqualification.
The recruitment process, which includes application, screening, aptitude testing, and final medical checks, is conducted under the supervision of relevant authorities to ensure transparency and merit.
Applicants have also been warned against engaging touts or paying money to secure placement, as the process remains officially free and merit-based.
