Ndokwa Association in United Kingdom Donate Desks to Pupils


Ndokwa Association in United Kingdom, London Chapter, have donated some set of Desk to Pupils of Ekpemili Primary school Obi Ogene, Ebedei in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking during the ceremony, the representative of NDOKWA Association in UK, Nigeria, Mr Emeka A Enebeli said that the Association decided to embark on the project as their little way of giving back to the society and contributing to the growth of Education in the society.

He highlighted that similar gestures have taken place in some communities within Ndokwa East and West, assuring community that are yet to benefit from the scheme to exercise patience, as the Association is working round the clock to ensure that it’s gestures get to all nooks and crannies of the NDOKWA NATION.

Mr. Enebeli also charged the pupils to make judicious use of the items presented, maintaining that more will come with time.

Receiving the chairs on behalf of the community, the special assistant to the Governor on special duties, Hon.Uzuakpundu Humphrey showered encomium on the leadership of the Ndokwa Association in UK, London chapter, especially the pioneer Mrs.Esy Oluwafemi.

He lauded the Association’s kind gestures on the Ndokwa people and used the opportunity to call on other well to do Ndokwa sons and daughters to key into activities like this, with a view to complementing the efforts of Government. He prayed God on behalf of the community to bless the Association and it’s leadership, to enable them do more for our people.

Pupils and staff of Ekpemili Primary school, Obi Ogene Ebedei couldn’t hide their joy, as they sang praises to the Ndokwa Association in UK, for coming to their aid, at a point were most of the pupils are sitting on bare floors when receiving lectures.
