Governor Okowa Promises to Complete Ogwashi-UKu, Ubulu-Unor Road


Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has promised to fast track the completion of the Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu-Unor road project in Aniocha South local government area.

Governor Okowa gave the promise on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ubulu-Unor during the funeral mass of Ezinne Gladys Ndinwa Aniagwu, mother-in-law of Apostle Chris Eruemulor of Calvary World Outreach at St. John Catholic Church Ubulu-Unor.

The Governor who was accompanied to the service by his wife Dame Edith Okowa and other top government functionaries thanked the people for their support and cooperation and assured them of government’s resolve to take development to the grassroots in line with the SMART Agenda.

Governor Okowa condoled the family of the deceased on the death of their mother and enjoined them to remain united and uphold the virtues of their late mother who was known for her exceptional services in the Church.

In a homily, Reverend Father Israel Dibia reminded the congregation that death was an inevitable end of man’s stay on earth, pointing out that only those who were obedient to God’s commandments would make heaven.

Reverend Father Dibia said the Ezinne Gladys Ndinwa Aniagwu lived her life in the service of God and humanity, and enjoined those left behind to mourn her to emulate those viruses which drew people closer to her.
