EPL: Cunha to Old Trafford Deal Takes Shape

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, with a deal potentially being finalized after the Premier League season wraps up this weekend.

Although direct talks between the two clubs haven’t commenced yet, they’re expected to start soon.

The 25-year-old Brazilian striker, who joined Wolves from Atletico Madrid in 2022, has notched 27 goals and 13 assists in 63 league appearances.

Cunha is said to be keen on joining United, believing the club remains one of the biggest in the world despite their current league standing.

A source revealed to Sky Sports News that Cunha “loves United,” and a deal is reportedly nearing completion, with United likely to trigger his £62.5 million release clause.

Despite interest from several Premier League clubs and Saudi sides, Cunha’s preference is to move to Old Trafford.
