Enenche, Wife Donate Patrol Vehicle to FRSC

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre and his wife, Dr Becky Enenche, have donated a patrol vehicle to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in a bid to boost road safety enforcement and reduce crashes on Nigerian highways. The event took place at the church premises in Abuja on Sunday.

The couple were also honoured as Honorary Special Corps Marshals during the ceremony, reinforcing their support for safer travels and community service.

Speaking at the presentation, Pastor Enenche said the gesture was rooted in the church’s commitment to both spiritual care and tangible acts that “ensure lives are saved” and make the work of safety personnel easier.

“What we are doing right now is to ensure that lives are saved and to ensure that the work is effortless for the personnel,” Enenche said.

He expressed concern over the rising number of road crashes and explained that partnering with the FRSC was part of addressing the crisis on busy routes like the Airport Road corridor in Abuja.

In her remarks, Dr Becky Enenche said the ministry would continue to sustain interventions across sectors, including initiatives aimed at improving public safety.

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Corps Marshal, Assistant Corps Marshal Godwin Omiko described the donation as a “wonderful gesture” and urged other well-meaning Nigerians to join efforts in making roads safer.

The FRSC also warned that enforcement will remain strict despite the support, cautioning motorists against traffic violations such as risky overtaking and speeding.
