Declare Your Intention to Run Now – Botu Tells Manager, Pondi


A two time Councillor and Delta State House of Assembly hopeful for Burutu One Constituency, Honourable Churchill Botu has called on Senator James Manager and Honourable Julius Pondi to declare their intention to run for the Senate and House of Representatives in the 2019 general elections

Honourable Botu who stated this in Abuja while fielding questions from newsmen said the people of Delta South Senatorial district and Burutu Federal constituency were eagerly waiting for the declaration of Senator James Manager and Honourable Julius Pondi.

He said the duo have contributed immensely to their constituencies in terms of attraction of meaningful projects, empowerment, debates on the floor of the red and green chambers adding that they played major legislative roles towards the take off of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko.

Honourable Botu noted that continuity was key to more and effective representation hence the urgent need for Senator Manager and Honourable Pondi to declare  their intention for 2019 general election.

“Senator Manager has shown maturity, committment and a unifying factor in representing Delta South without any controversy like some Senators while Honourable Pondi has proved skeptics wrong with his vibrancy on the floor of the House  despite his massive empowerment programmes”

While stressing that Delta South Senatorial district and Burutu Federal Constituency needs a replay of Senator Manager and Honourable Pondi in order to consolidate on their achievements for the people.

Honourable Botu called for support from the people saying that they remain the priority and focus of the representation of Senator Manager and Honourable Pondi adding that their timely visit to the Tuomo landslide site was worthy of note as the area was receiving attention following motions they moved on the floor of the Senate and House of Representatives.

He called on the people to come out to register for their permanent voters card as that was the only ticket they can use to cast their votes.
