Anthony Joshua, YouTube Star Jake Paul Bout Confirmed

Matchroom Boxing has confirmed that former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will face YouTube star–turned-boxer Jake Paul in a professional bout scheduled to take place in the United States next month.

The bout, officially announced on Monday, will be held at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Joshua, the 36-year-old former two-time unified heavyweight champion, will go up against Paul in an eight-round contest featuring three-minute rounds.

This matchup serves as a replacement fight for Paul, who had earlier been scheduled to take on lightweight star Gervonta Davis in an exhibition bout that was later cancelled.

Paul, 28, enters the fight with momentum, having defeated heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in Texas in November 2024.

Joshua, on the other hand, has not fought since suffering a stoppage defeat to British rival Daniel Dubois in their IBF world title clash at Wembley in September last year. The Miami showdown is expected to draw massive global attention due to the star power and contrasting backgrounds of both fighters.
