A Member of the Delta State Executive Council, Prof Patrick Muoboghare, has said the best is yet to come from the present administration in the state.
Speaking at the premises of the Anwai Campus of the Delta State University, during a reception organized in his honor after his swearing in as Commissioner and Member of the State Executive Council, Prof Muoboghare enjoined Deltans to remain supportive to the Okowa led government.
Prof Patrick Muoboghare said Dr Okowa had a manifesto during his campaign for reelection, stressing that members of the state executive council are expected to help the governor drive the implementation process of the manifesto.
He noted that Commissioners are Chief Special Advisers to the Governor at the various assigned ministries and would be guided by the body language of the Governor to understand and appreciate how he wants to go about fulfilling the promises he made to Deltans.
The University Don and Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education during the second tenure of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan promised to vigorously assist in building a stronger Delta State.
Prof Muoboghare who as at the time of filling in this report has not been assigned a ministry, expressed joy over his appointment and promised to uphold the trust the Governor found in him.
He said the agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is known to Deltans and was being implemented to the later.
Prof Muoboghare charged the people never to be distracted in their collective resolve to supporting Dr Okowa and his government in moving the state to higher heights.
