PSG Begin Early Contract Talks with Ousmane Dembélé
Paris Saint-Germain have started initial discussions with winger Ousmane Dembélé over a potential new contract, but no formal proposal or figures have been presented, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The talks are at an early exploratory stage, with PSG notifying Dembélé of their intention to open negotiations. Financial terms, contract length, and other specifics are yet to be defined.
Romano tweeted:
“Negotiations between Ousmane Dembélé and PSG over new deal are at initial stages. PSG informed Dembélé about intention to open talks over new deal, no formal proposal/numbers on the table yet. More contacts to follow soon.”
Sources say Dembélé’s current deal runs until June 2028, and his camp has previously been linked to discussions about a pay increase reflecting his status after winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or, though no official figures are confirmed.
The situation remains fluid, and fans can expect further updates as PSG and Dembélé continue talks in the coming weeks.
