Oberiko’s Children Honor Their Father 26 Years After His Passing

It was a solemn and emotional moment as the children of late Pa Prince Lawrence A. Ezekiel Oberiko marked the 26th anniversary of his passing on May 4, 2026, with heartfelt tributes, prayers, and reflections on his enduring legacy.

The remembrance event, held in his honor, brought together family members, political associates, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the life and impact of the late patriarch, who passed away in the year 2000.

The atmosphere was described as both emotional and uplifting as speakers shared fond memories and testimonies about his life, leadership, and values.

Speaking during the ceremony, the children described their father as a man of exceptional wisdom, likening him to King Solomon throughout his lifetime. They noted that even 26 years after his passing, his memory remains vivid and influential in their lives.

They emphasized that their father lived a life rooted in the fear of God, a principle they continue to uphold. According to them, his teachings remain a guiding force that has shaped their decisions and strengthened their faith over the years.

Among those who paid tribute were Amb. Emmanuel Oberiko, Mrs. Faith Oyovwi Oberiko and Comrade Deacon Efe Oberiko, who each spoke passionately about their father’s legacy.
