“No Second Family” – Brown Ideye Debunks Rumour
Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye has denied allegations of having a second family, addressing claims made by a woman named Yana Voloshchenko.
She had accused him of neglecting his parental duties and owing over $150,000 in child support for their alleged children.
In a tweet on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Ideye stated emphatically that he does not have a second wife or family home or abroad.
Ideye stated, “I have said this before and I’m saying it again. I don’t have a second wife or family, home or abroad. Happily married since 2010, and God blessed my wife and I with two lovely boys. Don’t take my silence for foolishness. Period.”
The news comes as Ideye continues to shine in the Nigeria Premier Football League with Enyimba. The 2013 AFCON winner has been instrumental in their campaign, following his return to the league. Ideye has also had a storied international career, scoring seven goals in 28 appearances for Nigeria.
