Nic-Ola Beauty Sparkles Corner: Say It When You Hear It

I remember that Sunday night the inspiration came to gift a free makeover to a bride on her day, trust me I had no one in mind, but thank God for the Broadcasts & Facebook messages with tags. Then a call came in by early morning Monday, past 6am.

And the caller asked if I know who he was, (yes a He, her hubby) I said no, and he said Lucky. He told me their Traditional Wedding was on Saturday, 5th November in Ogwashi-uku. Trust me for easy work I had said #Asaba.

Ok I agreed, but I was really amazed at how God fixes things up, I had known Lucky way back in 2011 when I came new to Asaba town. On my very first outing, after securing my first workspace, I had gone to a photo studio (Studio E) to take a picture #200 to mark my first outing in Asaba.

 Lucky wasn’t the guy who really took that picture but before I did take the shot, he said makeup artist, and am like yes I am. How do you know? He said, he didn’t know, it just came out like that. While going he said, makeup artist bye, that was the call that gave me the opportunity to have my first #bridal job in Asaba on my day 4 in town.

His boss back then Emma Okonji called me back and asked if I was really a #mua – Make up Artist. I showed pictures of my jobs and he was left in awe, introduced me to his marketer Hannah and the following day been Tuesday I went out with Hannah for marketing and I got my first job.

Fast forward to 2016, so God placed in my heart to do it and arranged it all to the Glory of His name, never in my wildest imagination had I thought it was Him (Lucky) for his wife.

So moral lesson:-

God never comes down to give us directly the things we desire, but He uses people to bless us. God speaks through people to give us the answers we seek.

God speaks to us daily.

I pray that He opens our hearts, our ears so we can always hear when he speaks to us about us and about others. I pray that our lips will not be shut when He wants us to speak to situations in our lives and the lives of those around us.
