José Mourinho Set To Return To Real Madrid
Football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Portuguese coach José Mourinho is set to return to Real Madrid.
According to Romano, all terms between Mourinho and Real Madrid have been verbally agreed, with only formal documentation remaining before the move is completed.
He also reported that the agreement in principle is for an initial two-year contract, with Mourinho expected to travel to Madrid after Real Madrid’s final La Liga fixture against Athletic Bilbao.
Romano shared the update on his X page, where he confirmed that the deal is at an advanced stage.
However, as of now, Real Madrid have not released an official statement confirming the appointment.
Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, where he won La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup during his tenure at the club.
The report has generated strong reactions among football fans, with many closely monitoring the situation ahead of an expected official announcement.
