Group Congratulates Delta Speaker, Oborevwori on His Birthday


A pan Delta Progressive Political group, the G20, has Congratulated the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Sheriff Oborevwori (JP) on his birthday today, Monday, June 19, 2017.

In a statement made available to newsmen, the Coordinator, G20, Mr. Alex Jeje, described the Speaker as a selfless and committed leader and wished him a happy birthday.

He said that; “We want to use this medium to felicitate with the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his birthday today. Since your emergence as the Speaker, you have shown your good leadership qualities and the love for people of our dear state”.

The Coordinator added that;”As you celebrate today, It is our prayers that the Almighty God continue to grant you wisdom to steer the affairs of the Delta State House of Assembly”.

On his part, the Secretary of the group, Mr. Freeborn Eghagha, while wishing the Speaker happy birthday, more fruitful and eventful years, said that; “having known you all these years, I have no doubt in my mind that you have what it takes to lead the Delta State House of Assembly aright and we join millions of others in wishing you a blessed birthday today”.

Mr Eghagha also said that;” May your sun shine on before men. You have truly been a gift to our people. As you mark your birthday today, we pray that God bless you with good health and continue to guide your steps and prosper all that you do for the benefit of the people”.
