Governor Okowa Congratulates Umunede Monarch On 25th Coronation Anniversary

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 paid glowing tributes to the Obi of Umunede Kingdom, HRM Ezeagwu Ezenwali I, Agadagidi (JP) on his 25th coronation anniversary.

Governor Okowa noted that the monarch’s 25 years reign has witnessed tremendous improvement in community relations, peace and prosperity of his domain, Umunede.


Okowa in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Charles Aniagwu, in Asaba on Tuesday, lauded Obi Ezenwali’s reign which has immensely benefited the people of Umunede Kingdom, Delta State and indeed the Nation.

“Of remarkable note is your royal carriage which is visible in the exemplary manner you have discharged your duties and has remained a source of pride and splendour to the traditional Institution, adding “I salute your courageous and visionary leadership which has provided enormous blessings to your people and a new sense of direction that is propelling your kingdom to greater heights.

“As an administration, we will continue to build on the prized and esteemed partnership with your royal palace for the good of all our people and residents of your kingdom.”

“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate HRM Ezeagwu Ezenwali I, Agadagidi (JP), the royal family and the entire Umunede Kingdom in Ika North East Local Government Area on the 25th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty.

“As we join the rest of the world to celebrate your divine reign, we pray that the Almighty God will continue to give you good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs of your kingdom and offer valuable contributions to the development of our dear Delta State,” the Governor said.
