UPDATED: Delta Confirms Ninth Coronavirus Case

Confirmed cases of the Coronavirus disease in Delta State has risen to Nine. This 9th case is coming barely three hours of recording the 8th case in the State.

The case which was confirmed this evening, is contained in an infographics published by the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu on his Facebook Handle.

Note that, all cases of positive Coronavirus infection in Delta and subsequent fatalities, were all recorded in April, a month which has been on a total lockdown.

Delta State recorded its index case of COVID-19 on April 7 and recorded its first death from the virus on April 9.

The state has so far discharged two COVID-19 patients successfully treated at FMC Asaba and had also recorded two deaths.
