Barcola Returns from Injury for PSG Clash with Liverpool
Bradley Barcola has returned to the Paris Saint-Germain squad ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool FC.
The French forward was named in PSG’s travelling squad for the quarter-final second leg at Anfield, marking his return after a spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Barcola had been out for about a month after suffering a severe ankle ligament sprain during PSG’s last-16 tie against Chelsea, forcing him to miss several matches across all competitions as well as international fixtures.
His return comes as a major boost for PSG, who head into the decisive encounter holding a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Paris.
The 23-year-old winger, who has been in impressive form this season, is expected to provide additional attacking depth as PSG aim to secure qualification for the semi-finals.
PSG manager Luis Enrique will now have more options in attack, with Barcola potentially playing a role either from the bench or in the starting lineup as the French champions look to finish the job against Liverpool.
