‘Having Several Baby Mamas Is One of My Biggest Regrets’ — Ubi Franklin

Nigerian businessman and music executive Ubi Franklin has advised young men against having children with different women, describing it as one of the worst decisions a man can make.

Speaking from personal experience, Franklin said that while providing financially for children is important, the real challenge lies in managing relationships with different mothers.

“One of the worst decisions you can make as a man is having children with different women.”

He urged young men to avoid allowing “baby mama drama” to become part of their lives, noting that although he has been fortunate to navigate his situation, others may not be as lucky.

According to Franklin, children are among life’s greatest blessings, but where possible, they should all be raised within one family. Reflecting on his journey, he admitted he wishes he had made different choices regarding fatherhood.

The music executive said his message was not intended to condemn anyone but to encourage younger men to learn from his experiences and make wiser decisions about relationships and parenthood. His latest remarks echo sentiments he has expressed in previous interviews, where he acknowledged that having children with different women was not how he envisioned building his family.
