Tinubu Launches Platform to Engage Entrepreneurs Directly
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has launched the Renewed Hope Enterprise Bridge Initiative to strengthen engagement between government and entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
The platform, unveiled in Abuja and represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, is designed to bridge the gap between policymakers and business owners.
“One side works with frameworks and projections; the other works with immediacy and risk. Bringing both into the same room is not symbolic; it is necessary.
“If a policy is to be useful, it must be informed by lived experience. And if an enterprise is to thrive, it must be supported by a system that understands it,” the President said.
He stressed the need for listening and practical policy impact, noting that businesses must feel real improvements beyond paperwork.
Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, said the creative and digital sectors can drive investment and economic growth.
“Creative and digital economies are the two sectors with the greatest potential to deliver the returns entrepreneurs seek,” she stated.
Also speaking, Chalya Shagaya said entrepreneurs must remain central to achieving Nigeria’s economic goals.
“It is what has made this engagement possible. If we are to achieve our national ambition of building a trillion-dollar economy, entrepreneurs must be at the center of the conversation consistently, deliberately, and meaningfully,” she said.
The initiative is expected to improve collaboration, policy feedback, and business growth nationwide.
