Igbodo Development Union Celebrates Priscilla Eleje, Director Currency Operations, CBN


The President General of Igbodo Development Union, IDU Worldwide, Deacon Matthew Okwaje has congratulated Mrs. Priscilla Eleje; Nee Okoh, an illustrious daughter of Igbodo Kingdom, on her dual achievements as the First Female Director of Currency Operations in Nigeria and also on the laudable feat of being the First Nigerian Woman to Sign on Nigerian Currency.

Deacon Okwaje in the congratulatory message, on behalf of the Central Executive Committee of Igbodo Development Union Worldwide, described the achievement as an honour well deserved and a recognition of Mrs Eleje’s immense contribution to the growth and development of our beloved country Nigeria.

Okwaje said “Mrs Priscilla Eleje knowledge in Banking and Management is impeccable, which is why she was elevated to the exalted position of Director of Currency Operations in Nigeria and the responsibility attached to the office. Igbodo community is indeed thankful to God for His Grace and Mercy upon her life. I wish to assure her of our support at all times and pray that the Lord Almighty will give her  the wisdom, guide and protect her in the discharge of her duties”.

Mrs. Priscilla Eleje, hails from Ndobu Quarters Igbodo, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.

She is a Psychology graduate of the University of Jos, Plateau State. An alumnus of the Prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, Banking and Management at Boston University, Massachusetts, USA.

Mrs Eleje is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
