Eid-El Kabir Celebration: Ighrakpata Felicitates With Muslims In Uvwie


The Member Representing Uvwie Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls in Uvwie as they celebrate Eid-el Kabir.

Hon Ighrakpata in a statement in Asaba on behalf of himself, family and the entire constituency, congratulated the faithfuls on this year’s celebration and urged them to use the opportunity provided by the religious event to pray for sustained peace in Uvwie and the state at large.

The Lawmaker who is the Deputy Chief Whip of the House acknowledged the large number of Muslims residents in Uvwie local government area and charged all to go about their activities peacefully before, during and after the celebrations.

Hon Ighrakpata emphasized the need for them to continue to live in peace and harmony with indigenes and to ensure they involve themselves only in legitimate businesses.

The Uvwie Lawmaker used the opportunity to again thanked Muslim community in the Constituency for their massive support during the general elections and assured them of effective representation.

He also commended them for their unalloyed loyalty and support to the state Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, stressing the need for all to continue to keep faith with the PDP administration in the state.

Hon Solomon Ighrakpata assured the people of the commitment of the Okowa’s led government to building a stronger Delta State to the benefit of both Deltans and non Deltans residence in the state.
