Domestic Violence: DSS operative inflicts deadly injuries on Sibling

In the early hours of Tuesday May 23, 2017, one Mrs. Justina Onotubu who is a DSS operative in Asaba almost killed her own blood brother Timothy.

According to reports, this cruelty has been on for past one year but all efforts to rescue the boy from her claws proved abortive.

On proper examination, it was discovered that Timothy who is her younger brother, has been nursing some fractures, scores of body and head stitches, and had been off from school and the public sphere for a very long time, all in a bid to cover up the punctures on his body.

Further investigation revealed that, Mrs. Onotubu took charge of Timothy because she wants him to babysit her daughter.

“She virtually turned him to a robot, had on countless times sent out the boy in the dead of the night to scavenge for food and other resources. Just last week, the boy slept outside all through the night,” a neighbour said.
