In line with the rotational political calendar initiated by the People’s Democartic Party (PDP) in Delta State, the All Progressive Congress (APC), Delta North Chapter has vowed to replace Anioma-PDP Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa with another Anioma-APC Governor in 2019, submitting that it is only equitable for the Senatorial District to complete its two gubernatorial terms since other Districts have done theirs.

This crucial decision and others were part of resolutions reached at the end of an enlarged APC Delta North Caucus meeting on Friday, February 16, 2018 held at the palatial home of the Honourable Minister of Petroleum (State), Mr. Ibe Kachikwu in Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North Local Government Area.

Arising from the closed door meeting which lasted for over 3 hours, a communique authorized by the leader of the Delta North Caucus of the party, Engr. Chief Hyacinth Enuha, was presented to journalists by Mr. Iwedi Nwaha.

The APC Stakeholders resolved that all eligible gubernatorial aspirants from Delta North Senatorial District should make their interest known to the zone at the earliest possible time in order to enlist the support of the other two zones in the State to produce a sellable Anioma Gubernatorial candidate.
