Appointments: Guwor Calls For Calm


The Member Representing Warri South-West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Emomotimi Guwor has called for calm and peaceful coexistence among the people of the Constituency.

Hon Guwor made the call in an interview while reacting to pockets of complaints over recent appointments made by the State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as it affects Warri South-West local government area.

The Lawmaker who commended Governor Okowa for the privilege and opportunity with the appointments made so far, expressed optimism that more indigenes of Warri South-West would be appointed in the nearest future.

He said there was no need for rancor and actions that promotes division among the people in the constituency as Warri South-West remains one indivisible entity.

Hon Guwor charged all to celebrate with those celebrating and to be celebrated when favour come their way.

The Lawmaker maintained that a lot of Indigenes of Warri South-West worked hard to be eminently qualified for appointments into positions in the state but appointments come in batches as everybody can not be appointed same time.

Explaining that the state government is determined to spread development across the state, Hon Emomotimi Guwor said Warri South-West Constituency would always get it fair share in the scheme of things.

He stated that what is required is the continued support and cooperation of the people, promising not to relent in attracting all round development and more dividends of democracy to Warri South-West.
