Delta Central Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Barr. Adelabu Bodjor has described the coming of Revd Francis Waive, an APC House of Representative hopeful for Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency as a big plus to the party.
Bodjor stated this during the official inauguration of Revd Francis Waive Campaign Organization at DSC Express by Ovwian, Delta State, charged party faithfuls to go all out and mobilize support for all APC candidates, noting that the party will win both at national and state level.
Revd Waive in his address tasked the party members to go home and sell the quality of the party candidates, promising that when elected, he will be accessible and will not be an absentee legislator, but will use his contacts to get what is due to his people from the MDAs.
While appealing to his supporters to go all out and canvas for vote, he said: “I am fresh, untainted, I will keep my word, we are ready for the election and we are going to win because the people are with us, they know our character that when we say a thing, we keep to it.”
Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who was represented by Mr Chuks Erireh said that the constituency has suffered from poor representation since 1999 because of the quality of the people elected in the past to represent the constituency.
He noted that Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency boast of high quality intellectuals but have not been fortunate to have very sound and effective representation at the lower chamber; the situation he says must change with the election of Revd Waive.
